PASTORAL

Pastoral Support

Kirkby Church of England Primary School is dedicated to supporting every child’s emotional, psychological and spiritual wellbeing. We monitor and support children on a 1:1 basis or in a group on specific personal or social issues.  Our aim is to remove barriers for the children to enable them to access their education and enjoy their educational journey. All staff work together to help all children achieve their best, educationally, socially and emotionally. We make every effort to remove obstacles to aid successful learning and to equip young people with the confidence and skills to be enthusiastic learners and effective members of the community.

If you feel your child requires any pastoral support the class teacher is the person to contact in the first instance. If it is felt your child requires additional support they will be referred, with your permission, to Mrs Kenny.

This page is updated regularly with resources that can support you and your family with mental health and well-being.
